Ian Kelly-Morgan

Ian Kelly-Morgan, MSc, is a seasoned Principal Electrical Engineer at nLIGHT, specializing in the development of high-density power electronics utilizing wide bandgap materials for directed energy systems. Career experience includes leadership roles at Topi Laboratories Inc. and Energy Everywhere, Inc., where Ian managed cross-functional teams and conducted advanced system engineering projects. Previous positions included Director roles in product systems and systems engineering, with notable contributions to electric vehicle energy storage and automated characterization systems. Ian co-founded Junction Analytics, pioneering rapid feedback technology in semiconductor industries, and has held engineering roles in metrology and device characterization, reflecting a strong background in complex system design and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Ian holds a Master's degree in Chemistry with a focus on Semiconductor Devices and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from the University of Oregon.
