Joseph Pravato has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Joseph started their career in 2000 with BellSouth in a sales role and then moved on to Clear Channel Communications as a Promotions Coordinator. In 2005, they joined DELL in sales and later transitioned to Overhead Door Corporation as Tech Support. In 2010, they worked as a QC Inspector for Avail Search Group. Joseph then joined No Magic, Inc. in 2011 as a Software Developer, where they contributed to plugin development and assisted with the analysis and design of Cameo Concept Modeler. Currently, Joseph is a Junior Java Developer and Junior DevOps Engineer at Dassault Systèmes (No Magic, Inc.), where they are involved in the development of applications using Object Oriented Programming and plugin development for the MagicDraw UML modeling tool. Overall, Joseph has demonstrated strong technical skills and a commitment to continuous learning and development throughout their career.
Joseph Pravato attended DeVry University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Game & Simulation Programming. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired several certifications from different institutions. In 2018, they obtained certifications in Planning, Auditing and Maintaining Enterprise Systems, Linux Server Management and Security, Windows Server Management and Security, and Enterprise System Management and Security, all from Coursera. Joseph also completed the Puppet for Absolute Beginners course from Udemy in the same year. In 2018, Joseph also completed courses on Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) with TeamCity for Developers and DevOps, Jenkins Bootcamp: Fully Automate Builds Through Deployment, and Jenkins: continuous integration & DevOps with Java, all from Udemy.
