Neil Markwardt

Neil Markwardt is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the design and development of medical devices and robotic surgical instruments. Currently serving as the Senior Technical Manager and Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer at Noah Medical since December 2021, Neil has previously held key positions at Johnson & Johnson and Freudenberg Medical, among others, focusing on advanced robotic surgical systems and innovative reusable medical devices. Neil's engineering expertise encompasses the entire product lifecycle, including design, validation, and manufacturing processes for Class 1 to Class 3 devices. Holding a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, along with a BS from Texas A&M University, Neil has demonstrated leadership in both academic and professional settings, having also led engineering teams and contributed significantly to the development of competitive engineering projects.
