Andrei Povodyrev has extensive experience in software engineering and architecture, currently serving as Chief Software Engineer at Nodal Exchange since 2008. In this role, Andrei leads the development of the auction engine for the NEX trading platform, overseeing the entire process from mathematical formulation to commercial implementation, utilizing technologies such as ILOG CPLEX, Java, and JBoss. Prior to Nodal Exchange, Andrei worked as a Technology Architect at MasterLink Corp, focusing on Intelligent Work Management and creating an end-to-end framework for the application. Additionally, Andrei held positions at FannieMae as a Sr Software Developer, where responsibilities included leading the development of a Collateral Management System, and at First Consulting Group, contributing to the design and implementation of multi-tier web applications for healthcare clients.
