Igor Aronovich

Igor Aronovich is an experienced professional in the energy sector with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Vice President of Market Operations at Noga - Israel Independent System Operator since November 2021, Igor previously held various senior leadership roles at IEC - Israel Electric Corporation, including Deputy VP and Head of IPP and Market Operations Unit. Igor has also led significant initiatives such as the Steering Committee for Blackout & Large Disturbances and managed major projects like LNG and Smart Grid. Igor holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Chernivci National 'Juriy Fedkovyc' University, an ME in Business Administration from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Electricity and Power Energy, completing studies for Electricity Engineer certification with honors from Ariel University. Additionally, Igor has pursued further education at Tel Aviv University’s Coller School of Management.
