Marian F. is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and management. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Nomic Foundation since December 2023, Marian focuses on compilers, development runtimes, and deployment systems within the solidity ecosystem. Prior to this role, Marian worked at Google from November 2018 to November 2023 as a Software Engineering Manager and Lead, specializing in the Google Search Backend. From November 2011 to October 2018, Marian held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft, where the focus was on the Azure Cloud Platform and Identity services. Marian holds a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both obtained from the University of Bucharest.
