Abhishek Tiwari is a seasoned finance professional with over 24 years of extensive experience in investment banking and leveraged finance. Currently serving as Managing Director at Nomura since October 2008, Abhishek leads the Leveraged Finance, Corporate Syndicated Loans, and Fund Financing areas within Global Markets for the Asia and Japan (AeJ) regions. Previous roles at Nomura include management positions in Debt Origination and Loan Capital Markets, as well as Executive Director and Vice President in leveraged and acquisition financing. Prior experience includes significant roles at Lehman Brothers as an Associate in leveraged finance, and at JPMorgan Chase and JPMorgan India as an Analyst focused on high yield and corporate finance. Abhishek began a career in equity research with Kotak Securities and First Global. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from the International Management Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Delhi University.
