Mahammad Shirinov

Mahammad Shirinov is a software engineer currently employed at Nooks since September 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Stanford University, where responsibilities encompassed teaching research methods and statistical techniques. As a co-founder and software engineer at DoktoraGörün, a telemedicine startup, Mahammad led product design and developed a scalable backend. Additional roles include an internship as a Backend Software Engineer at Amazon, a cybersecurity research internship at the University of Maryland with published results in USENIX 21, and a software development internship at Erste Software. Mahammad holds a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Mathematics from Bilkent University, along with an exchange semester at EPFL.
