Krishna Kumar

Krishna B. Kumar is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in research and international economic policy, currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Research at NORC at the University of Chicago since August 2023. Notably, Krishna has held several key positions at RAND Corporation since August 2005, including Vice President, International, and Distinguished Chair in International Economic Policy. Additionally, Krishna directs initiatives at the Pardee RAND Graduate School and has been a visiting professor at the Indian School of Business. With a robust educational background, Krishna holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago, a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
