Ilkka Kaartinen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Prior to their roles at Nordcloud, Ilkka held various positions at Eiran sairaala ja lääkäriasema, including CIO, Head of IT Department, and Senior Systems Administrator. Ilkka worked in the healthcare sector from 2005 to 2017.
Ilkka's early career experience includes working as a Laboratory Engineer at the Software Business and Engineering institute of Helsinki University of Technology. Ilkka started their career at Accenture as a Technical Architect.
Ilkka Kaartinen studied Computer Science at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan starting in 1998. Additionally, they obtained several certifications in various fields, including Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM in 2021, AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020, and Professional Cloud Security Engineer from Google in 2020. Ilkka also holds certifications from Alibaba Cloud, Oracle, Microsoft, and Amazon Web Services.
