Florian Matthes

Florian Matthes has over 20 years of experience in operations and supply chain management within the renewable energy and consulting sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President Global Operations Nacelle and Senior Vice President Global Blades at Nordex Group since June 2013, Matthes has led significant organizational transformations, increased production output, and globalized manufacturing operations. Prior roles include Purchasing Director at Affidea and Managing Partner at ARAIA Supply Management Consulting, focusing on supplier optimization and cost management. Early career experience includes co-founding TRINAMIC Motion Control GmbH & Co.KG and various trainee positions in semiconductors and engineering. Matthes holds a degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from Hamburg University of Technology.
