Sindre S. Bornstein

Sindre Stemshaug Bornstein is the Managing Director at Nordic Innovation since February 2025, focusing on promoting entrepreneurship and sustainability in the Nordic region. Previously, Sindre served as VP Commercial for Digital & Decarbonisation at VPS and played key roles at Yxney Maritime AS, where responsibilities included business development and marketing in the maritime decarbonization sector. Earlier experience includes advisory positions at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including coordinating relationships with Innovation Norway and promoting Norwegian business interests at the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in San Francisco. Sindre's career began at Statoil and Norsk Hydro in various economic and commercial analysis roles. Sindre holds a Master's degree in Business & Economics from BI Norwegian Business School and completed a CPD Certified Programme in Climate Emergency at the University of Oxford.
