Chico Weber is a seasoned engineer and technology leader with extensive experience in software, vision systems, and 3D printing. Currently serving as a Senior Software & Vision Systems Engineer at Norfolk Southern since February 2024, Chico previously held the position of Director of Technology at The BALSA Foundation, an organization dedicated to making entrepreneurship accessible since 2014. As the Senior Engineer and CEO of Farmicology Corporation, Chico developed the energy-efficient GrowMotion robotic grow light. Additional roles include Senior Engineer positions at Hive-ID LLC and Squarefruit Labs, where significant contributions were made in application development and large format 3D printing solutions, respectively. Chico also founded SfiTech LLC, focusing on custom 3D printers, and gained early experience as a research and teaching assistant at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where involvement in surgical robotics and diabetic management systems took place.
