Anna Brander is an accomplished economist with significant experience in monetary policy and financial stability. Since June 2012, Anna has held the position of Senior Economist in the Monetary Policy Department at Norges Bank, also serving in the Financial Stability Department from January 2017 to December 2022. Prior to this role, Anna worked as an Economist in the Monetary Policy Department at E24 from September 2008 to May 2012, where contributions included finance journalism. Anna's early career featured roles as Editor in Chief at Observator—Tidsskrift for studenter og kandidater i samfunnsøkonomi and a journalist at E24 and Under Dusken. Education includes a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Oslo and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), along with foundational studies at Oslo Katedralskole.
