Nicolai Ellingsen has served as Assistant Director at Norges Bank since September 2018, previously holding the position of Seniorrådgiver. Prior experience includes roles at the University of Oslo from January 2013 to August 2018, where Nicolai was a PhD candidate, seminar leader for macroeconomics classes, and coordinator responsible for recruiting and managing approximately 140 volunteers for a festival. Earlier experience includes working as a security guard at Securitas from January 2010 to May 2011, focusing on site control and emergency response. Nicolai holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Oslo, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same institution, complemented by an exchange program at UNSW and business studies at BI Norwegian Business School.
