Eirik Eide

Eirik Eide has extensive experience in the maritime and shipping industry, currently serving as Driftsleder at Norled AS since August 2025. Prior to this role, Eirik held positions as Senior Chartering Officer at Tidewater, where responsibilities included developing company strategy and optimizing fleet utilization from August 2023 to May 2025. As Chief Commercial Officer and co-owner at Shipshave AS from April 2020 to August 2023, Eirik played a crucial role in transitioning the start-up into a commercially successful entity focused on sustainable shipping technology. Eirik's previous positions include Area Manager at Damen Shipyards Group, Marine Operations Supervisor and Contract & Performance Analyst at bp, Chief Commercial Officer at Bourbon Offshore Norway, Senior Shipbroker at Seabrokers Group, Fleet Personnel Supervisor and Chief Officer at WesternGeco, First Officer at Østensjø Rederi, and Petty Officer in the Norwegian Armed Forces. Eirik holds a BS in Nautical Engineering from UiT - The Arctic University of Norway.
