John Nay has a diverse work experience in the field of AI research, legal informatics, and investment management. John is currently the Founder and CEO of Norm Ai, a company revolutionizing regulatory compliance with AI agents. Prior to this, John worked as a Fellow at CodeX, The Stanford Center for Legal Informatics, where they led a research project on aligning artificial intelligence with humans. John also served as a Visiting Scholar at Vanderbilt University Law School. John is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief AI Officer of Brooklyn Investment Group, where they raised $20 million in equity capital and launched widely deployed AI technology. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at New York University School of Law, co-creating and co-teaching a course on AI. John also served as an Affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.

John Nay holds a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University. John also completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at New York University.
