Thomas Dybdahl Ahle

Thomas Dybdahl Ahle is an accomplished researcher and leader in machine learning, currently serving as Head of ML and Research Scientist at Normal Computing since May 2023. Previously, Thomas worked at Meta as a Research Scientist, where leadership of the Machine Learning Efficiency group led to the development of a dynamic clustering algorithm that significantly reduced internal recommendation system sizes. With a strong academic background, Thomas holds a Ph.D. from IT-Universitetet i København and has contributed to fundamental algorithmic research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Basic Algorithms Research Copenhagen. Additional experience includes co-founding SupWiz, developing chatbot software, and extensive work in software engineering across various companies.
