Dr. Lanor Payne is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in early childhood education and school improvement. Currently serving as an Innovative Schools Fellow at The Opportunity Trust and Principal/Director of PK-2 Education at Normandy Schools Collaborative, Dr. Payne has a proven track record in enhancing educational equity and academic readiness. Previous roles include Superintendent of Special Education at Annie Malone Children & Family Services, where comprehensive inclusion programs were developed, and Director of School Improvement for New Orleans Public Schools, achieving notable improvements in underperforming schools. Dr. Payne's academic background includes an EdD in Educational Leadership and Administration, as well as advanced degrees focused on school leadership and early childhood education.
