William Westhafer

Bill is an architect, leader and innovator, with almost four decades of experience shaping the built environment. His diverse portfolio experience spans Commercial, Industrial, Education and Health Sciences sectors. He has led multi-disciplinary teams designing office and industrial parks, corporate headquarters, warehouse facilities and data centers.

As Vice President at NORR, Bill describes his extensive career as one of looking forward, at the opportunities, the partnerships, and what NORR can provide to its clients. His approach is highly collaborative with a strong focus on sustainability and integrated design. Bill brings a holistic approach to design across the entire spectrum of services, from master planning to workplace strategies, always taking a client-centric approach to every project to deliver on business objectives and long-term value and efficiencies. He understands that it is critical that office buildings, workspaces and systems, be designed for flexibility, to accommodate the changing demands of the workplace over time. Changes in how we work, particularly as leveraged by technology, requires new and adaptable design solutions and a relentless exploration of fresh ideas.

Bill is past Chairman of his local Planning Board, and today, continues to provide this volunteer community service by contributing his professional knowledge to help improve the built environment at the municipal level. He also serves on the Valley Youth House Board of Governors, where he is directing a team on the design of cabins for summer camps to support vulnerable youths in Pennsylvania.
