Jane Toogood

Jane Toogood OBE FRSC is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the chemical and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as Independent Board Member at Norsk Hydro and Co-Chair of the UK Hydrogen Delivery Council, Jane has been influential in shaping the UK hydrogen strategy. As UK Hydrogen Champion, Jane provided independent advice to the UK Government on the hydrogen economy and authored a pivotal report driving subsequent government actions. At Victrex, Jane chairs the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, focusing on sustainability initiatives. Previously, as Sector Chief Executive at Johnson Matthey, Jane led the catalyst technologies sector and originated strategies for hydrogen growth and decarbonization. With leadership roles at Borealis and a background in business development and strategy consulting, Jane's career has consistently emphasized sustainable innovation. Jane holds an MA in Natural Science from the University of Oxford.
