Audun Ramstad is a seasoned development engineer with a robust background in acoustics and storage technology. Currently at Nortek AS since January 2011, Audun focuses on ultrasound transducer design for underwater applications and Doppler signal processing. Previously, as Chief Engineer at General Storage and Technology, Audun led the development of new optical storage technology in partnership with an American corporate research lab. Experience at Tandberg Storage ASA includes roles as R&D Chief Engineer and R&D Senior Engineer, where Audun contributed to strategic R&D management and directed new magnetic head developments. Early experience at Tandberg Data involved leading head development for SLR tape streamers. Audun holds a PhD in Physics and an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics and Mathematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
