North Carolina Zoo
Brian Petty is an experienced creative professional with a diverse background in graphic design and marketing. Currently serving as Creative Director and Senior Graphic Designer at North Carolina Zoo since November 2013, Brian has also maintained a freelance graphic design and marketing practice since July 2012, working with various clients including individuals, start-ups, and organizations across sectors. Previous roles include Marketing Specialist at The Shelby Star, where Brian enhanced visibility for major accounts, Field Service Representative at The Gaston Gazette, assisting advertisers with campaigns, and Classified and Interactive Graphics Manager at both The Gaston Gazette and The Shelby Star. Brian began a long tenure at The Shelby Star in 1999, managing advertising graphics and prepress while creating print and interactive advertising for a variety of clients.
