Marsha O'Hare

Educator at North Carolina Zoo

Marsha O'Hare is an experienced educator with a strong background in science education and environmental stewardship. Currently an Educator at North Carolina Zoo since July 2021, Marsha engages guests in learning about ecology, geology, and conservation programs. Prior experience includes teaching sixth-grade science at New Century Middle School and eighth-grade science at Highland Middle School, along with earlier roles in various educational settings, including the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum and Clarksville High School. Marsha holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from North Carolina State University and a certification in Secondary Science Education from Austin Peay State University.
