Tammy Latu is an accomplished academic leader with extensive experience in higher education administration and medical assisting. Currently serving as Academic Dean and Medical Assisting Program Chair at North-West College since 2017, Tammy has previously held positions as Academic Dean and Dean of Student Services at San Joaquin Valley College, where notable achievements include improving graduation rates by 7% and increasing placement rates by 12%. With a strong background in curriculum development and instructional leadership, Tammy has also worked as Allied Health Division Manager and instructor, demonstrating expertise in program health and student learning outcomes. Prior experience includes roles as Office Manager at Option One Home Health and Medical Assistant at Aureus Medical Group.
