Kate Coronges has extensive experience in network science and social behavior research. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Network Science Institute at Northeastern University since April 2015, Kate previously held positions as Program Manager at the Army Research Office, where management of a research portfolio in Social Networks was key. Additionally, Kate spent a decade as Managing Editor for Connections Journal, overseeing the peer review process. Academic contributions include an Assistant Professor role at the United States Military Academy in Behavioral Sciences & Leadership, along with past research assistant roles at the Transdisciplinary Drug Abuse Research Center and the University of Southern California. Kate holds a PhD in Health Behavior Research and an MPH in Biostatistics & Epidemiology from the University of Southern California, complementing a BA in Molecular, Cellular, & Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
