Jayan Velayudhan

Jayan Velayudhan, CFA, FRM, serves as the Chief Risk Officer at Northern Arc Capital since November 2017, bringing extensive experience in risk management across various financial institutions. Prior to this role, Jayan held the position of Chief Risk Officer for India at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and was Head of Credit for Corporate and SME at L&T Finance. Jayan's career includes significant roles such as Director and Head of Credit Risk at Rabobank, Head of Credit in Corporate Banking at Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Vice President at ICICI Bank. Jayan's professional journey began as an engineer in the Heavy Engineering Division at Greaves Cotton Limited. Jayan holds a Post Graduate degree in Management with a focus on Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
