Northland Properties Corporation
Like his siblings, Mitch started learning about the family business at 13 when he started working as a dishwasher at Heartland Restaurants. After graduating from the University of Northern British Columbia, he moved to the UK in 2005 to develop and open Northland Properties’ first hotel and restaurant outside of Canada. While opening Sandman Signature Newcastle Hotel and Shark Club Gastro Bar, Mitch was simultaneously earning his MBA in Financial Management from the University of Hull's Greenwich School of Management in London.
Today, Mitch oversees 5 properties in the UK and Ireland while living in Newcastle upon Tyne with his wife and 3 young children.
