Viet Nguyen is currently a Lab Research Assistant at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, focusing on photogrammetry research to transform images into 3D models for applications in robotics and AR/VR. Additionally, Viet has experience as an IT Student Assistant, providing support in a higher education IT environment, and serves as the Chief Technology Officer for the CPP Google Development Student Club, leading project teams to meet organizational objectives. Viet is also involved in a collaboration project with Northrop Grumman, developing FastAPI clients in Python for unmanned vehicle data and video streaming. Viet is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, expected to graduate in 2024.
