Ketan Desai

Ketan Desai has over 18 years of experience in software engineering and web development. Ketan started their career in 2001 as a Junior Software Developer at Level 7 Systems, where they developed a command line interface in C for a network processor and handled software defects. In 2002, they joined IBM as a Junior Software Developer, where they maintained and created various Perl/CGI scripts and web forms in a support role for microprocessor designers. In 2003, they became the Webmaster/Web Developer at Carolina Equipment Distributors, where they gathered requirements from key stake holders and designed websites using ASP, C#, Adobe Photo Shop, and Dreamweaver in .NET environment. Ketan then joined Lockheed Martin in 2004 as a Software Engineer, where they worked on JSP and database customization on MAXIMO 5.2 COTS application. In 2006, they joined Blue Canopy as a Software Engineer, where they worked on J2EE web development using Apache Tomcat 5.5 and iBATIS integrating with Oracle 10g. Ketan then joined AT&T as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on J2EE web app development and deployment on Websphere 6.1 and Tomcat 6. In 2009, they joined Sotera Defense Solutions, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on Groovy on Grails and Java web application development interfacing with Oracle databases, deploying on Apache Tomcat on Linux servers. Finally, in 2013, they joined Northstrat Incorporated as a Senior Software Engineer.

Ketan Desai obtained a BS in Computer Science from North Carolina State University between 1999 and 2003. Ketan then went on to George Mason University to pursue an MS in Software Engineering between 2004 and 2006.
