Bernardo Gutierrez is an experienced Automation Engineering Manager at Northvolt, specializing in Formation and Ageing processes since March 2019. As a technical leader, Bernardo oversees the automation and controls team, focusing on the design and deliverables for various machinery and equipment used in manufacturing. Prior to Northvolt, Bernardo held the position of Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls & Automation Engineer at Greenlane Biogas Europe Ltd, where responsibilities included designing electrical systems for biogas plants and optimizing PLC systems. Other roles included administrative support at KTH and project leadership at Rockwell Automation, where notable achievements encompassed full lifecycle support for industrial automation systems. Bernardo holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Technology from KTH, along with specialized training in Medium Voltage Power Control Products and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
