Farshad Abbasi

Farshad Abbasi currently serves as the Manager of Mechanical Validation in cell design at Northvolt, leading the department in developing innovative methodologies for lithium-ion battery cells. Previous roles at Northvolt include Senior Validation Engineer and Validation Engineer, where Farshad contributed to technical activities and validation projects. Prior experience includes R&D Engineer and Technical Specialist positions at MONDRAGON Corporation, with a focus on designing and implementing design criteria for the automotive industry. Farshad has also held leadership roles at the Technology Incubator Center and extensive experience in research and development within the aerospace, construction, and academic sectors. Farshad holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Bu-Ali Sina University and additional degrees from Isfahan University of Technology and Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.
