Pia Aaltonen-Forsell

Pia Aaltonen-Forsell is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in executive roles across various industries. Currently serving as Group CFO at Northvolt since August 2024 and as a Board Member at UPM - The Biofore Company since April 2023, Pia has previously held significant positions including CFO at Outokumpu (March 2019 - July 2024), CFO at Ahlstrom-Munksjö (April 2017 - February 2019), and CFO at Munksjö (April 2015 - March 2017). Additional roles include CFO at Vacon Plc and senior finance positions at Stora Enso from 2000 to 2013, culminating in leadership roles in finance, IT, and M&A. Pia holds an MBA from Henley Business School and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Helsinki.
