Sandra Azima

Sandra Azima currently serves as the Group Compliance Officer and Senior Legal Counsel at Northvolt since July 2021, having previously held roles as Interim Group Compliance Officer and Senior Legal Counsel, as well as Legal Counsel. Prior experience includes working as an Associate at Derains & Gharavi and at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in the International Arbitration Group. Sandra's early career included significant roles such as European Union Adviser - Trainee at the European External Action Service and various internships, including with UNICEF and the United Nations' Office of Legal Affairs. Sandra holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Legal Studies from New York University and another LLM from Stockholm University, complemented by diverse legal internships and research assignments in international and constitutional law.
