Steven Cespedes

Steven Cespedes is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in project finance and debt management. Currently serving as Debt Finance Manager at Northvolt since March 2021, Steven previously held several key positions at BNP Paribas CIB from January 2014 to April 2021, including Director of Project Finance and VP of Project Finance, where involvement encompassed limited recourse transactions in power and energy sectors. Prior to that, Steven worked as VP of Energy and Commodities, focusing on structured finance transactions in the oil and gas sector across EMEA. Steven began the career at BNP Paribas in October 2007 as an Associate, engaging in various structured financings before advancing to senior roles. Educational background includes a Specialized Master in International Project Management from ESCP Business School and a Master of Engineering from Arts et Métiers.
