Tara Shajan PhD RN MSN MBA PMH-BC is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing leadership and academia. Currently serving as the Director of Psychiatry at Catholic Health and Vice President of the National Association of Indian Nurses of America, Tara also holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Long Island University. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Nursing at Northwell Health, Director of Nursing at New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, and Administrative Nursing Manager at Montefiore Medical Center. Tara has also been actively involved in professional organizations, including serving as Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Indian Nurses Association of New York and Treasurer for the National Association of Indian Nurses of America.
