Meghan Bean is a seasoned market research and evaluation scientist with extensive experience in the field. Currently, Meghan serves as a Senior Market Research & Evaluation Scientist at the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) since September 2019. Prior to this role, Meghan worked at the Multnomah County Department of Community Services as a Research Evaluation Scientist and later as a Research and Evaluation Analyst Senior from September 2016 to September 2019. Meghan's earlier career includes positions as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at Research Into Action from September 2013 to August 2016, as well as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Arizona from July 2011 to August 2013. Meghan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Psychology from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from Tufts University.

The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) is an alliance of more than 140 utilities and energy efficiency organizations working on behalf of more than 13 million energy consumers to increase the adoption of energy-efficient products, services and practices. To do this, the alliance identifies and removes market barriers to energy efficiency to drive permanent change throughout the supply chain.
