George Aye is a distinguished design professional with extensive experience in user-centered design and education. As Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director at Greater Good Studio since July 2011, George has contributed to impactful design initiatives. In addition, George serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Northwestern University, teaching Design Ethics, Design Research, and Design Your Life to graduate and undergraduate students since September 2020. Prior to this, George held the position of Full Professor at the Art Institute of Chicago, focusing on Social Innovation and human-centered design from September 2007 to June 2023. With a background that includes roles as Creative Director of Industrial Design at IA Collaborative, Lead Designer for the Chicago Transit Authority, and Designer at IDEO, George has led significant design projects across various sectors. Educationally, George holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Design Visualization from Bournemouth University.
