Omar Farha

Omar Farha is a Professor of Chemistry and Research Professor at Northwestern University, where tenure began in June 2007. In addition to academic responsibilities, Omar also serves as President of NuMat Technologies, Inc., a cleantech university spin-out established in June 2011 that specializes in the computational design and synthesis of high-performing nanomaterials for gas storage and separation applications. Omar completed a Ph.D. in Chemistry at UCLA between 2002 and 2006 and continued postdoctoral research at Northwestern University from 2007 to 2009.
