Peter Braithwaite

Peter Braithwaite is currently the Director of Business Community Engagement at Northwestern University, a position held since February 2022, where the focus is on developing and managing the procurement diversity strategy. Prior to this role, Peter served as the 2nd Ward Alderman for the City of Evanston from February 2011 to July 2022. Additional experience includes roles as an Account Manager at Grainger from June 2017 to February 2022, Sales Manager at MedLogic Sales Inc. from 2012 to 2016, and Business Development at Solutions Associates Consulting, Inc. from 2009 to 2012. Peter began a career in sales as a Sales Representative at Stryker from 2002 to 2009. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The University of Kansas, obtained between 1989 and 1994, and completed secondary education at ETHS from 1984 to 1988.
