Susan Carey

Susan Carey is an experienced healthcare information system professional, currently serving as System Vice President of Information Systems at Norton Healthcare since 2003, where previous roles included System Director of Health Information Management. Carey has held various positions within the healthcare information management field, including a role as a CSA at AHIMA in 2014 and involvement with HIMSS, LOUHIE from 2007 to 2009. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant for a project management group from June 1999 to March 2003 and working as a Project Manager at Vencor from 1994 to 1999. Early career experience includes roles in implementation and health information management at Humana from 1980 to 1994. Susan Carey holds a Master of Health Information Management degree from Louisiana Tech University.
