Chairman Harald Norvik was the President and CEO of the Statoil Group from 1988 to 1999. Before this, he was a Member of Aker's Executive Board as CFO and CEO of Astrup Høyer. He has been the Personal Secretary to the Prime Minister and the State Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. Mr. Norvik has served on Boards and as Chairman in several international and Norwegian companies. He is currently the Chairman of Imatis, Rock Energy and Kraft Bank, and a member of the Board of ConocoPhillips, Arundo, and Umoe. Mr. Norvik is a Norwegian citizen and holds an M.Sc. in Business and a BA from the Norwegian School of Economics.
