Tim Stear

Tim Stear is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in security, risk management, and operational leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Security Asia at MetLife since January 2019, Tim has also been an Area Manager at the Norwegian Refugee Council since May 2016, where rapid promotion followed significant growth initiatives. Prior to these roles, Tim held various leadership positions at Control Risks from 2001 to 2016, including Senior Managing Director for the Middle East and Country Manager for Nigeria, where responsibilities encompassed risk advisory and business development. Tim's early career includes roles at G4S and the Royal Marines, where leadership and strategic planning were integral. Tim's education includes a Master of Science in International Relations from the University of York and specialized courses in cybersecurity and languages.
