Javier Diaz

Javier Díaz Álvarez possesses extensive experience in regulatory affairs and quality assurance within the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as Regulatory Affairs Manager & PRRC at Nostos Genomics since June 2023, Javier ensures the compliance of software as a medical device (SaMD) with the In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation (IVDR) and manages regulatory documentation for approvals. Prior to this role, Javier worked at Health in Code Group from September 2017 to June 2023, initially as a Quality Assurance Analyst and later as a Quality Assurance Coordinator, focusing on the creation and maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and coordination of incident management processes. Academically, Javier holds a Master's degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Microbial Biology of Products and Food from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a Licenciatura in Biology from Universidad de Oviedo, and further studies in Biology at the University of Bremen.
