Lana Schwartzman

Lana Schwartzman has over 17 years of experience in regulatory and compliance roles. Lana is currently the Head of Regulatory and Compliance at Notabene, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to that, Lana served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Dapper Labs from September 2021 to July 2022. From November 2018 to September 2021, they were the Chief Compliance Officer at an undisclosed company.

Lana's earlier experience includes working as a Manager of Regulatory and Compliance Risk at Grant Thornton LLP from April 2011 to November 2018. Lana led teams in executing audits and developed an Internal Audit manual for a cryptocurrency exchange trust company. Before that, they were a Senior Associate at LECG from December 2010 to April 2011.

Lana began their career at Morgan Stanley, where they held various compliance roles. Lana was a Compliance Project Manager in the GWM Enterprise Initiatives Group from January 2007 to November 2008. Prior to that, they worked as a Compliance Associate and later a Compliance Analyst, where they developed databases and updated compliance manuals.

Lana also has experience as a Business Development Consultant, where they advised clients on problem-solving, research, and data analysis. Lana worked as a Business Development Consultant from November 2008 to December 2009. Additionally, they served as a Financial/Business Development Analyst at Muriel Siebert & Co., Inc from January 2005 to May 2005, where they evaluated potential business opportunities and performed financial analysis.

Lana holds certifications as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Cryptocurrency Forensic Consultant (CCFC), and Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRC).

Lana Schwartzman completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Law at Pace University from 2001 to 2005. Lana later obtained various certifications, including the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) from ACAMS in March 2017 and the Cryptocurrency Fundamentals Certification from Chainalysis Inc. in February 2022. In addition, they completed the Chainalysis Reactor Certification in March 2022 and the Notabene Travel Rule Training in February 2023.
