James Zhang is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in building and scaling innovative products. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Notion since March 2023, James is responsible for developing Notion Calendar. Previously, at Stripe from March 2018 to March 2023, James led teams to enhance Stripe Checkout and Stripe Billing, significantly improving global payment solutions for over 100,000 businesses. At The Beat Drop Inc., as Cofounder and CTO, James developed multiple successful consumer web and iOS applications. Early in the career, James contributed as a Software Engineer at Wistia, focusing on data processing and video analytics. James is a Y Combinator alumnus and holds a degree from Cornell University.
