Notting Hill Genesis
Matthew is the group director of assets and sustainability, having joined the executive board in January 2023. His role focuses on the fabric and safety of the homes in their portfolio, as well as on the environmental and sustainability agenda, a growing priority across the housing sector.
Matthew has many years’ experience in the development directorate at Notting Hill Genesis and Notting Hill Housing before that, most recently as deputy group director, which means he has a strong understanding of the importance of quality homes in improving customer experience.
He also spent a year as deputy group director of housing, where he led projects to develop and deliver new process, technology and data intelligence to raise the quality of the resident experience.

Their roots reach back to the 1960s when their legacy organisations were created by local people who shared a vision to house west London’s working poor and providing them with a home from which to build a more secure future.
