Daniel Daviau. Ing/P.eng

Daniel Daviau, Ing/P.Eng, MBA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and engineering. Currently serving as the Product Planning Leader at Nova Bus, a division of Volvo Group Canada Inc., since December 2019, Daniel oversees the electric vehicle charging infrastructure strategy and related product offerings. Having started at Nova Bus in January 2009 as a Customer Project Manager, Daniel successfully managed key projects including the City Mobility project and Natural Compressed Gas vehicles. Prior to that, Daniel held various leadership roles at Nortel from 1995 to 2009, such as Sr Manager in Business Transformation and Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included enhancing operating margins and supervising teams in the production of optic electronic products. Earlier career experience includes roles at Syscan and Dawcolectric focusing on engineering management and project estimation. Daniel holds an MBA in Technology Management from École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM) and a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from École de technologie supérieure.
