Kent Williams

Kent Williams is a seasoned software engineer with a diverse background in technology and entrepreneurship. At Nova Labs since September 2022, Kent continues to leverage expertise in software engineering. Previous roles include software engineer positions at Helium Inc. and Ripcord, where Kent advanced to senior software engineer at Ripcord. As co-founder and CEO of Scanse, Kent addressed market needs for affordable LiDAR solutions, successfully launching a product via Kickstarter. Additionally, Kent co-founded Uptronics, completing numerous projects in mechatronics over three years. Kent began a career as a robotics engineer at Synbotics Inc., focusing on localization and path planning for mobile platforms. Kent holds a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering with a focus on Computer Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
