Martin Rovers

Martin Rovers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic initiatives and energy services. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Nova Scotia Power since April 2019, Martin previously held roles including Director of Smart Grid at Emera Inc. from 2015 to April 2019 and Director of Energy Services and Solutions at PowerStream from 2012 to 2015. Martin's background also includes leadership positions at Better Place as Director of Better Place Canada, Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group, and Project Manager at Mennonite Economic Development Associates. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, an MSc in Physics from McMaster University, and a BSc in Physics from Dalhousie University.
